Its an awful thought to imagine life without water and electricity 24 hours a day. Ive only just been able to get my energy supply back after a power cut and I might say it was amongst the worst several hrs in recent years. It was comparable to my arms had been cut off making me redundant. I couldnt connect to the internet, watch telly, listen to Cds, boil up a cup of hot chocolate, put a lasagna in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me begin to understand how lucky I am to be a resident in a country that makes these things available to me. I find it difficult to think of what it must be like for folks who dont have luxuries of the West. I realise that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an open fire. Another thing that I would love to be able to make my own energy and not rely on energy suppliers. Unfortunately where I live I dont think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
